On Wednesday March 23rd, 2016, Grand Valley will host its 15th annual Teaching & Learning with Technology Symposium. This year’s keynote address will be given by GVSU faculty members Robert Talbert and Matthew Boelkins, entitled “How can technology extend the humanity of learners? A dialogue.”

This isn’t so much a talk as it is a conversation between the two about the ways that professors can harness the promise of modern technologies in order to promote the human experience of learning.

Earlier this month the West Africa Examination Council released the May/June 2015 Senior School Certificate Examination result which showed that over 1.5 million candidates sat for the examination.
It is quite disturbing to know that only 38.68% of that number obtained credits in five subject and above. Even though there is a little improvement compared to the previous year, it’s not enough.
Improving education has been a big issue and there are several challenges surrounding it, but in this edition of Network Africa Channels Television narrowed it down specifically to technology and how it could be used to improve teaching and learning.
